Description du poste

Sous l'autorité du Directeur Administratif et Financier vos principales missions seront:
- encadrer l'équipe comptable;
- vérifier les interfaces des ventes, des achats et des salaires en comptabilité;
- veiller au respect du calendrier fiscal et social;
- élaborer mensuellement le classeur des pointages ( analyse de tous les comptes bilan);
- renseigner les liasses de pré-consolidation et de consolidation;
- participer mensuellement en relation avec le DAF à la confection du rapport de gestion;
- participer, en relation avec le DAF, à la confection de la liasse SYSCOA en fin d'année.
Profil du candidat

Titulaire d'un BAC+ 4 en Finances/Comptabilité , vous justifiez d'une expérience professionnelle d'au moins 3 ans , vous savez vous conformer à des procédures rigoureuses de traitement des chiffres et vous êtes capable d'exploiter de façon optimale les informations financières. Vous avez une bonne maîtrise des logiciels SAGE X 3 et EXCEL.
Vous êtes rigoureux, intègre, méthodique et parfaitement autonome.

Objectifs

The African Development Bank Field Office (ZWFO) based in Harare, Zimbabwe has been established to strengthen cooperation between the Bank and Republic of Zimbabwe.   ZWFO invites applications from suitably qualified Zimbabweans to fill the following vacant positions.  These positions are local and posting will be in Harare, Zimbabwe. 

Fonctions et responsabilités

Under the direction of the Resident Representative, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
  • Providing general Secretarial assistance to the Office, Field Staff and visiting Missions
  • Independently respond to diverse inquiries and makes decisions when multiple courses of actions are possible;
  • Coordinate and monitor multiple and diverse work processes and activities to ensure that management decisions are properly carried out and products are delivered in a timely manner;
  • Ensure quality of documents requiring the RR and Field Staff's approval and/or signature;
  • Drafts/finalizes correspondence on a range of topics on behalf of the Resident Representative and prepare minutes of meetings;
  • Be accountable for the smooth operation of the office work, support work and related systems within the Country Office by organizing and coordinating workflow.
  • Transmit and follow up the processing of requests for tax exemptions, long stay visas, diplomatic and  international organization cards and registration of the Bank's vehicles and staff members;
  • Transmit and follow up the processing of diplomatic missions and consulates accredited to Zimbabwe for visa applications and all other Bank official documents; conduct airport arrival and departure formalities for Executive Directors and Governors, and all other personalities invited by ZWFO;
  • Contribute to the organization of ZWFO events and ceremonies;
  • Provide protocol services to ZWFO;
  • Perform any other duties reasonably requested by the Resident Representative and Flied Office Staff.

Critères de sélection

  • At least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in International Public law, Economics, International Relations or Business Administration  with a professional secretarial expertise; minimum five (5) years of experience in the relevant area;
  • Thorough knowledge and use of all relevant computer software and the ability to help organize data and information retrieval systems;
  • Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills;
  • Proven ability to work in effectively in a team-oriented, multi-cultural environment and to function effectively as a member of various groups;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with knowledge of French language.

Objectifs

Under the supervision of the Resident Representative, and working in consultation with Division Managers in the Financial Control Directorate (FFCO) and the General Services and Procurement Directorate (CGSP) in the Bank's Temporary Headquarters in Tunis, the incumbent will be responsible for all administrative and financial functions in ZWFO. S/he will generally support the Resident Representative (RR) and will be part of the management team in the ADB country office in Zimbabwe.

Fonctions et responsabilités

  • Overall responsibility for maintaining the accounting books and records of the ZWFO;
  • Prepare documents to monitor the use of the Office's resources and budget schedules  missions, short term contracts, temporary staff, etc;
  • Supervise the work of all supporting staff and contract service providers, and ensuring that all contracts are performed accordingly;
  • Manage and maintains the physical assets of the ZWFO;
  • Supervise inventories of the office supplies, and manages requisitions from Headquarters and local procurement, as the case may be;
  • Manage  personnel records of staff of the Office
  • Manage meetings of the Office;
  • Establish and maintain a filling system for important records arising from activities of the ZWFO;
  • Oversee and manage the documentation of the Office;
  • Prepare the Country Office budget and report on its implementation; and
  • Carry out any other function of administrative or similar nature as may be assigned by the RR.

Critères de sélection

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, and/or finance; and experience in administrative and financial accounting as well as the full range of office support work, with a high level of sustained performance;
  • At least five (5)  years of relevant work experience; experience in a similar multilateral organization will be considered an advantage;
  • Thorough knowledge and use of all relevant computer software and the ability to help organize data and information retrieval systems;
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills;
  • Proven ability to work in effectively in a team-oriented, multi-cultural environment and to function effectively as a member of various groups;
  • Competence in the use of Bank standard software (Word, Excel, Access, MS Projects and PowerPoint);
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with knowledge of French.
