Description : THE WORLD BANK recruits AGRICULTURE ECONOMIST Location :Dakar, Senegal Type of contract: Term Contract (3 years) - Local hire The World Bank's efforts to facilitate faster growth in agricultural productivity and inclusive rural development in the Africa Region require enhanced presence in our country offices; to interact with clients and partners on a regular basis, to support design and implementation of comprehensive programs, and to facilitate improved monitoring and evaluation of developments in the sector. Areas of engagement broadly include agricultural technology, marketing and value chains, vulnerability and risk management, rural infrastructure (including irrigation), rural finance, land administration, community driven development and policy and regulatory reforms. To support this expanding line of analytical and operational work in Senegal and in neighboring countries, an experienced professional is sought to join the Africa Agriculture and Rural Development team (AFTAR) and to undertake the roles and responsibilities in the World Bank Office in Senegal and neighboring countries described below. The Country Director for Senegal, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, and Cape Verde is located in Dakar, and many staff work across these countries. The selected staff member will contribute to the effectiveness and coherence of our agricultural work in Senegal and neighboring countries. MISSION: Assurer la bonne gestion de l’équipe officinale – Gérer et suivre la qualité des prestations ACTIVITÉS PRINCIPALES: Contrôler le service des ordonnances pour veiller à la conformité des produits prescrits – Assurer les conseils aux patients avec une ordonnance en effectuant une analyse pharmaceutique – Contacter le médecin en cas de doute sur une ordonnance ou en cas de proposition de substitution – S’assurer de la bonne compréhension du traitement par le patient – Assurer les conseils thérapeutiques – Gérer l’ouverture et la fermeture de la pharmacie – Veiller à la ponctualité des agents – Suivre le traitement des réclamations clients et rendre compte au responsable de l’officine – Assurer la veille réglementaire afin de procéder à des rappels de lots en cas de produits détériorés, périmés, suspects, ou les retirer à la vente par les autorités sanitaires – Animer l’équipe de vente pour s’assurer un bon accueil des clients – Veiller à l’application
