Description du poste / Fonctions / Attributions :

Purpose/Mission

Responsible for distribution by Road & Railway of products to customers under criteria of optimization costs complying with all safety requirements and assuring a good level of service to customers.

Critical Tasks / Accountabilities

• Minimize distribution costs complying with safety requirements.
• Preserve a good level of service to customers, assuring availability of product in terminals
• Optimize Railway Transportation through proposed improvements
• Follow up on Shipping Station Operations and demand corrective measures for any deviation
• Security Management: leadership in implementation of Safety Procedures in terms of Logistics and fulfillment of Safety Standards
• Ensure leadership in fulfillment of Safety Standards relating to Logistics and support.
• Managing safety documents and its traceability: ensure fulfillment of safety procedures are updated

• Excellent knowledge of logistics process.
• Excellent skills to negotiate with transport suppliers.
• Analytical capacity to optimize fleets and identify potential savings

Description du profil du candidat :

Qualifications

• University degree preferably technical
• At least 5 years of experience in Logistics
• 2-3 year experience in similar position, with direct support to Sales Department.
• Exposure to industrial organizations and international business environment
• Computer Skills:  MS Office, excellence in excel and power point
• Language requirements:  English and French   
• Language Level: Excellent written and spoken for both
